TLD SOCIAL
– Creating meaningful connections –
Program Description
TLD Social is a program for women to connect with other women in their communities to have fun and to learn about social topics and issues that are being addressed by local non-profits. The program is social in all aspects and there is no-fundraising involved.
TLD Social events are for women who want to socialize with a purpose. The 4 pillars of TLD Social are the:
- Women who participate
- Local community
- Non-profits in the community
- Social topics and issues being addressed
Program Approach
At TLD Social events, women are invited to experience the work the non-profit does by participating in one of the organization’s activities, whether it is viewing a performance or filling pillowcases with presents for a Holiday drive, to name just two examples. Following the activity, the women socialize with each other and are encouraged to focus their conversations during this time of the event on the cause the non-profit addresses.
